Lil Wayne ft. Drake - Right Above It
That bouncy beat comes courtesy of Kane Beatz, and its a proper kickoff to what will be treated as Wayne’s comeback album (even if the content will technically be material Weezy recorded prior to entering jail.) In an interviewwith New York DJ Funkmaster Flex, Wayne explained that the EP (due on his birthday, Sept. 27) consists of “stuff I recorded right before I came here.” But it’s worth noting that Wayne recently mentioned on his blog that the lyrics he’s writing from prison are: ” … well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them. Amazing would be too typical and perfect would be unfair.” We can’t wait.
