Alicia Keys experienced a stage mishap when performing at this year’s Essence Music Festival at the Superdome in New Orleans on Saturday night, July 3. The pregnant singer stumbled backward and landed on her bottoms.
However, the singer didn’t skip a beat, got up and sat at the piano. Keys made it through her set without another noticeable flub and according to the blogosphere, the singer and her unborn child are doing fine.
Last week, Keys made Prince, along with the millions watching at home, raise an eyebrow and lean toward the edge of his seat when she climbed on top of the piano during her performance of the Purple One’s hit ‘Adore.’

Yes. This was pretty much the talk of the festival during that particular performance. We ended up missing Alicia Keys perform so I didn't see the fall. She probably wants to be a little more careful and all, considering she is pregnant.
